Two dresses a designer drew in pencil, made real on two models, then bound in a lookbook and filmed.
The brief, verbatim
I'm attaching two sketches of dresses I designed. Make them real: first show me each dress as a finished garment on a model in an editorial studio shoot, stills first so I can approve the look. Then a short film of the models on set wearing them, simple and elegant, like a designer's lookbook come to life. Keep the dresses exactly as I drew them: same silhouettes, same necklines, same details.
What the studio made
The four hero stills, the ivory gown front and in motion and the bordeaux halter front and open back; The seven-page lookbook with the designer's sketches beside the garments they became; And the short lookbook film of both women on set with quiet piano under it.
