What they asked for, word for word

We've been in our house in Austin for nine years and the backyard is still builder-grade dirt and a sad strip of grass. Two kids, a dog, and we entertain maybe twice a month when it's not brutal out. I want the whole yard designed: somewhere to eat outside under shade, a fire spot for fall, planting that can survive Texas heat without me babying it, and it has to feel like a room we added to the house, not a yard we decorated. Budget for the build is around $60,000.
