A quiet place to test the numbers yourself — to see, in today’s dollars, what patience is worth against standing still.
Everything you type here stays on your machine. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere — no company, no bank, no one. This page does no math on a server and keeps no record; close it and the numbers are gone. You can turn off the internet entirely and it will still work. It is yours, and it is private.
The three things worth moving
Change any one and the outcome recomputes below. The defaults are the plan’s own conservative numbers — leave them as they are to see exactly the figures on pages 14 through 18 of your book.
Default $107,100 — the patient 25-year core from Step 5 of your plan.
The same money, two roads
Crypto has no honest number here. No one can project it — it could be a large multiple, a fraction, or nothing at all. That is a bet, not a plan, and a legacy has to hold. It is left off this page on purpose, and not drawn climbing.
What these numbers are — and are not
These are approximations under stated assumptions, never promises. A real return is a planning figure, not a guarantee; some years the market falls. The math simply shows what a steady real return would compound to over time.
Everything is in today’s dollars — already adjusted for inflation — so the future number means what it means now. The 2% product is modeled generously at 0% real (as if it merely kept pace with inflation); modeled honestly it would end below where it started.
Rates and yields move. Before you act on anything, check the current numbers — and read the plan’s companion notes, which hold the full math and every source.
His Work, Kept — the projection instrument
A companion to the plan prepared on a fee-only, fiduciary basis. The defaults are the plan’s own conservative figures; at those defaults the numbers here agree, to the dollar, with pages 14 through 18 of the book. This page runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
