Home Nurse Robot
A home nurse robot, with its investor and technical dossier.
The brief, verbatim
I heard robotics is becoming more and more part of the future, especially home robots or nursing robots. I was thinking about an idea of building a robot nurse who can take care of the elderly at home instead of them going to nursing homes. A robot that would administer vitals and actually give the elderly medication on time, programmed to give various medications at the right time and just take care of the elderly. It's got a camera in its eyes, whereby caregivers can look through the robot and see how the person is doing. It obviously can't really drift, and it has to do everything correctly. Of course, it can call 901 or emergencies if it sees anything that's out of the ordinary. Looking for a home nurse robot, I was hoping you could help me build one, spec one, and tell me how to maybe even pitch it. I don't need a PowerPoint, more of a PDF pitch. Actually design one, look at it, see what it's going to look like and what the practicality of it is. See if it's enough for me to go pitch it, raise money to go build it, and figure out:
- what the build cost is going to be
- what it is going to be at a certain volume
- what kind of brain it needs to have
- the actuation
- all of those things
Can you help me with this?
