My wine bar's last hour is my favorite hour and it needs its music. An original smooth jazz track, around four minutes, late-night and unhurried: brushed drums, warm upright bass, a horn or keys carrying something tender. The feeling is the candles are low and nobody wants to leave. Mastered, ready to play, with a sleeve I can put on the screen behind the bar.
What the room did
The record itself, “Last Hour,” delivered as the finished four-minute master: keys leading, the horn passing through twice, late-night and unhurried, cleared for play in the venue. The square sleeve carries a glass of red and a candle burned low, and the widescreen art built from the same frame goes up on the screen behind the bar.
