What the studio made
"Never Stayed Down": a warm, stripped-back acoustic song in a female voice about making it against the odds, and a four-minute film built to the track: one voice alone in a lamp-lit room at night, then the climb, the road, the hill, the fire, a line of lanterns coming up behind her so one climber becomes many, the rain, and the sun breaking over the summit on the last chorus. The song and cover ship beside it.
