The runway, live: burn, first revenue, ramp, and the verdict
The 18-month runway, live: drag the burn, the first-revenue month, and the ramp, and watch the savings curve, the month-9 floor, and the verdict move.
The brief, verbatim
I'm 38, single, and I have about $240,000 saved outside retirement. I want to quit my $9,500/month job and give myself 18 months to build my consulting business. I think I spend around $5,800 a month but honestly I'm not sure. I need to know: can I actually afford this, what does the runway really look like, what has to be true by month 9 to keep going, and what's my walk-back plan if it fails. Give me the real numbers and something I can play with, not a pep talk.
What the room did
The simulator from the runway decision case, live in the viewer: five levers recompute the whole model on touch, the savings curve month by month, the month-9 checkpoint against its floor, the point of no return, and a plain-words verdict, with presets for no-revenue, slow ramp, and base.
The deliverable
