Film, Music & Animation · Rumba flamenca sung by women
Tardes de Sal
A warm, mid-tempo rumba flamenca sung entirely by a women's group: sun-soaked, with an ache in it.
The brief, verbatim
Make me a song at the [classic rumba-flamenca band] register but it’s a women group instead
What the studio made
"Tardes de Sal," 2:54: a female lead carrying the longing and a women's ensemble lifting every chorus, nylon-string guitar with drive, palmas and cajón, Spanish lyrics about a love remembered by the sea. The sleeve shows four women singing in golden light, with the lyrics alongside.
