Three-track sunset rooftop set. One opener with warm keys that rises with the light going down, one mid-set groove with a saxophone lead, one closer that floats. Each a real full track around three minutes, no vocals, and the three should feel like one evening.
What the studio made
"Last Gold," sparse warm keys until the band arrives with walking bass and brushed drums; "Full Bloom," a tenor sax that states the theme, trades with the piano and owns the warmest part of the night; "Night Settling," piano and soft pads thinning into the dark. Three sleeves from one rooftop, only the light moving across them, and a note on how to play the set.
