Apps & Tools · Deal underwriting app — shown in stills
The deal engine's real screens: the daily feed, the GO deal, the buy box
A tool for house flippers that reads the market daily and answers: which houses to buy, at what price, at what profit.
The brief, verbatim
In the house flipping business, is there a way to create a tool that will look at all the houses for sale under a certain set of criteria (square footage, price per square foot, age of the house, things of that sort)? It should also take into consideration the rehab cost and the cost of capital and produce two things: 1. Which houses are worth buying, and at what price are they worth buying? 2. What would be the go/no-go as far as profitability is concerned for houses that fit into that criteria. Have the system dynamically look at houses for sale in the market in a particular geography continuously and serve up, on a daily basis, here are the houses that you should buy and at what price to make a certain profit.
What the room did
The real app, screen by screen, photographed from the running server: the ranked daily feed, the top GO deal opened with the two ways to price it, and the buy box that sets the rules. The face and the opening piece are the same app moving, and the eleven-page Operator’s Field Guide follows, dial by dial.
