This is a sample; the planner and her weddings are invented. I'm Delphine Okafor, a wedding planner in Chicago. I plan 30 weddings a year in lofts, museums, rooftops and by the lake in summer, mostly for couples in their thirties who both work long hours. Before this I ran a restaurant floor for ten years, so I'm the calm one when the cake is late. My studio's colors are black, ivory and a deep green.
