Film, Music & Animation · Song for a flight
Desert Arrival
A warm, unhurried song for a flight to Palm Springs: the desert opening up below, the light going gold, the feeling of arriving.
The brief, verbatim
I want a song..something my listen to on my flight to Palm Springs..
What the studio made
"Desert Arrival," 3:15: acoustic guitar and an easy groove, warm keys and bass, a relaxed low voice that sits under the listener, building through a real arc and settling into a slow fade. Its cover is an empty two-lane road toward a low sun, Joshua trees and purple mountains.
