Steal a car, draw heat, lose the cops, and the city calms
An open-world coastal crime sandbox in the browser: steal a car, take a job, draw heat, lose the cops, and the city calms down.
The brief, verbatim
I want an open-world crime sandbox in my browser. Top-down, the classic format. A whole city I can drive around in and cause problems.
The idea: I'm a nobody in a coastal city, working my way up. Steal a car, take a job, deliver something you probably shouldn't, and the cops take an interest. The more heat I draw, the harder they come. Lose them and the city calms down. That heat cycle is the whole engine.
What matters most is that the city feels alive and driving feels good. Traffic that flows, people on sidewalks who react, cars with real weight that slide when I take a corner too fast. If the driving isn't fun on its own, before any mission, the game's dead. I want to be able to just cruise around and enjoy it.
Give me a real map to explore. Districts that feel different, a waterfront, a downtown, industrial edges, alleys that shortcut. Hidden stuff worth finding.
Then jobs to take. Deliveries, getaways, someone who needs a package moved. Money that buys me better cars. A reason to keep going.
No violence beyond the cartoon level of the format. Chases, crashes, escapes. Keep it fun, not grim.
Make it look great. Stylized, sharp, neon at night, sun-bleached in the day. Its own city and its own world, not a copy of anyone else's.
Runs in a browser, no download, no accounts, no ads. A link that works and I'm driving in five seconds.
