Venture & Private Equity · Seed deck and live model for a pottery studio
Kilnhouse
A neighborhood pottery studio's investor deck and a working Excel model, every number tied to the founder's own rough sheet.
The brief, verbatim
I'm attaching my rough numbers. I'm opening a neighborhood pottery studio called Kilnhouse — build me the investor deck and a working financial model I can edit in Excel. Everything must tie to my numbers exactly, and if my numbers conflict anywhere, ask me instead of choosing.
What the studio made
The investor deck for Kilnhouse — the opportunity, five revenue lines in one shared room, unit economics, the twelve-month climb to break-even in month four, the runway and the ask — as an editable PowerPoint with a PDF twin, and a live Excel model with formulas that ties to the client's numbers exactly. Where the client's numbers conflicted, the studio asked rather than chose, and the ramp was softened to the slower opening the client gave.
