Spaces & Architecture · Concept book
A hillside villa above Marbella, designed to hand a builder
The finished work
A south-facing plot over the Mediterranean, worked through twenty-eight spreads down to drawings on its 27 percent slope.
What they asked for, word for word
We just closed on a hillside plot above Marbella — south-facing, looking over the Mediterranean. I want the house designed as a concept book I can hand to an architect and a builder: multiple levels stepping down the hill, big terraces, a pool that looks out over the sea, light stone, lots of glass. Renders at golden hour, floor plans, elevations, the materials, the site plan on the actual slope. This is the house we've worked twenty years for — make the book breathtaking.
What the studio made
The twenty-eight spread concept book, from golden-hour renders to working drawings on the actual 27 percent slope. Site plan, section through the hill, floor plans, elevations and the materials palette shipped as architect-ready drawings.
