Seven-Vegetable Couscous
Moroccan seven-vegetable couscous the way Morocco does it, adapted to an American kitchen and written in English and Spanish for the cook who makes it.
The brief, verbatim
Hey Laura, can you make me a Moroccan couscous recipe with 7 vegetables and beef, just like Morocco does it? Obviously, we're in the U.S., so ingredients are a bit different, especially in my area. I just want to give you some anchor, but I want a really cool couscous recipe with southern vegetables for me to hand over to someone to just make for me. They don't need to know what couscous is or discuss it. It's pretty good couscous. They were covering Moroccan food for the first time. Can you do it in Spanish and English, both? I'm talking about the final deliverable, both Spanish and English. Thank you.
What the studio made
A five-page recipe card, English and Spanish side by side: the shopping list, the braise, the vegetables and the couscous, finish and serve, written the easy one-pot way for a standard American kitchen with seven vegetables found locally. A second card followed for a chicken version, rebuilt around the chicken's timing rather than a word swapped.
