KELVAR Node One: a naked steel-trellis machine for the city

The same e-bike brief, answered with a different conviction: KELVAR Node One, a naked steel-trellis machine for the city.

The brief, verbatim

I want to bring a product to market and I need it designed properly, the way Apple or Dyson would obsess over it. It is a high-end electric bike for the city, the kind of object you would be proud to park outside a nice restaurant, not embarrassed to lock up.

Design the whole thing. What it looks like from every angle, the frame, the lines, the details, the finishes and the colorways. How it works as a piece of engineering, the battery, the motor, the weight, the range, all stated and sensible. Then show it to me in beautiful product renders and out in the real world being ridden.

I want to see it and immediately want one.

What the room did

The product monograph plus the full obsidian render pass: every elevation, the head node, motor and battery details, the cockpit, and the bike at night in the city, parked and ridden.

The deliverable
