A 1994 kitchen redesigned from the client's own photos

A 1994 kitchen redesigned from the client’s own photos: same footprint, same window, the $85,000 laid out honestly.

The brief, verbatim

We've been in our house nine years and the kitchen is still 1994 — golden oak everything, the burn mark by the stove, the fluorescent box light of my nightmares. I've attached photos of exactly what we have. Budget is 85,000 dollars and I want to see it transformed before we commit a dollar: the full redesign built from MY actual room — same footprint, same window — with before-and-after views that make my husband gasp, the materials named down to the counter stone and the cabinet paint, and the plan a contractor can bid from. Warm modern, not sterile — we cook every night, two kids do homework at the island that doesn't exist yet. Make me see the kitchen this room was always supposed to be.

What the room did

The concept book built from her actual room: three before-and-afters from her own camera angles, the floor plan and both wall elevations, every material named down to the paint and the stone. Behind it, the trade-by-trade scope a contractor can bid.
