For retirees

You want one person to call about your money.

The Capitol steps under red autumn maples.

Your accountant does the taxes. Someone else looks after the investments. They don't talk to each other, so you end up carrying messages between them.

And every year, the question of which account to draw from lands on you, with two people's paperwork and nobody's whole view.

What we do about it

One firm for your taxes and your investments.

An advisor you know by name, and a CPA down the hall from them. When you call, the person who picks up knows your plan.

What we'll work on together

Which account should I take money from this year?

Your withdrawals and your taxes are planned together, by people in the same office.

When should I start Social Security?

We look at the timing with your whole picture in view, including your spouse's.

What about the required withdrawals from my retirement accounts?

We plan for them with our CPA well before the deadline, not after it.

Who does my taxes now?

Dana Field, our CPA, handles your tax planning, so your plan and your return agree. If you'd like Dana to prepare the return itself, we can do that too.

I'd like to help the grandkids with college.

College savings for grandchildren, planned with your own needs counted first.

Is my estate plan still right?

We go through it with you and work with your attorney on anything that needs to change.

One firm, priced plainly

$4,800 a year

Where planning starts, at a flat fee.

Planning starts at a flat $4,800 a year. That covers the planning itself: your retirement, tax planning with Dana, college savings for the grandkids, and your estate plan worked out with your attorney.

If you'd like us to manage your investments, or Dana to prepare your tax return, each is priced separately, on top of the planning fee. We'll talk through both at the first meeting, before you decide anything.

How the $4,800 works

Why retirees come to us

A CPA on staff.

Taxes and investments in one firm is the whole ask. Dana works with every advisor here.

One advisor you know by name.

You'll have one person who knows you, with the whole team behind them.

Meet the team

Nothing to sell you.

We're fee-only. You pay us directly, and nobody pays us to recommend anything.

What to bring to the first hour

If they're handy: last year's tax return, recent account statements, and the name of your attorney if you have one.

Bring the folder. We'll do the sorting.

The Capitol dome lit at dusk behind a fountain.

Start with one free hour.

One hour, free, at our office on the isthmus or by video. We listen, ask about your goals, and send you a one-page summary within a week.
