A city e-bike given the full industrial-design obsession
A high-end city e-bike designed the way Apple or Dyson would obsess over it: a carbon monocoque machine you would park outside a nice restaurant.
The brief, verbatim
I want to bring a product to market and I need it designed properly, the way Apple or Dyson would obsess over it. It is a high-end electric bike for the city, the kind of object you would be proud to park outside a nice restaurant, not embarrassed to lock up.
Design the whole thing. What it looks like from every angle, the frame, the lines, the details, the finishes and the colorways. How it works as a piece of engineering, the battery, the motor, the weight, the range, all stated and sensible. Then show it to me in beautiful product renders and out in the real world being ridden.
I want to see it and immediately want one.
What the room did
The whole design as a 20-spread concept book (frame, finishes, colorways, the engineering stated and sensible), plus the full render set: every angle, the details, and the bike out in the world being ridden.
The deliverable
