Products & Industrial Design · A companion AI device for the home and the car
Vero
An AI companion device that skips the smart-and-ugly phase: a quiet-luxury object for the counter and the dashboard, with a voice you choose and an app that travels with you.
The brief, verbatim
I want to invent something I am thinking … A device , a smart device that who an LLM in it that listens and converses with you without a phone .. so it’s a chat bot but in a smart-speaker-like device … light .. runs a top AI model as its brain .. understand languages.. I know this is easy and being done right now .. but I want to skip the “smart and ugly device phase “ to something nice .. this is for the home or car .. better than a smart phone because of its display , can eventually connect to applications so we need to have that wired in for later .. and travels with you .. so device at home or in the car and APP in your phone .. I want great design and esthetics .. choose the best brain , the voice is customizable
What the studio made
Vero, the invention whole: a 25-page concept book — the bet, the object in anodised aluminium and knurled dial, its two worlds at home and in the car, the display as jewelry, the voice you cast instead of configure, the traveling app, and the brain recommendation with its reasons. A working phone-app prototype, the positioning, the brand system, the six display faces, the voice and interaction model, and the object in eight frames.
