Film, Music & Animation · Launch film for a women's watch
Meran
The finished work
Thirty seconds for a women's mechanical watch: time you keep, not time that rushes you.
The brief, as it opens
We're rerunning the film, and this time I know exactly what I want because I know exactly what was wrong last time.
I want a thirty-second film for Meran, our women's mechanical watch. The idea: time you keep, not time that rushes you. Slow, cinematic. A woman winds the watch at a dark desk before dawn — macro on the crown. She moves through her morning unhurried while the city blurs past. Close on the dial in first light, seconds hand sweeping. End card: MERAN, "Keep your time." …
What the studio made
"Meran", thirty seconds: a woman winds the watch at a dark desk before dawn, close on the crown, then moves through her morning unhurried while the city blurs past the glass. It closes on the dial in first light and the line "Keep your time."
