Someone in Tulsa picks up.
Heartland & Vine is an independent insurance agency in Brookside. We compare 14 insurance companies for you, explain your options in plain words, and answer the phone when the ice comes down.
Illustrative agency. 14 companies is an illustrative number.
- Since 1958. Three generations of the Vine family, same city.
- 14 companies, one conversation. We shop the insurers so you don't fill out ten forms.
- A person answers. Not a phone tree. Not a chatbot.

Why an independent agent
We work for you, not for one insurance company.
Most insurance you see advertised is sold by one company, through its own app or its own agents. They can only offer you their policies.
We're independent. That means we're appointed with many insurance companies, and our job is to find the one that fits you: your house, your car, your business, your budget, your history. When something goes wrong, we're the people in your corner while the insurance company handles the claim.
Three things that changes for you:
- One conversation instead of ten forms. Tell us once. We do the comparing.
- Someone who reads the fine print with you. Deductibles, exclusions, the roof clause on page 14. We'll point to it.
- We stay when the company changes. If your insurer stops being a good fit, we can move you to another one. You keep the same agent and the same phone number.
When something goes wrong
Storm, wreck, break-in. Here's the first hour.
- Get safe. People first, property second. Call 911 if anyone's hurt.
- Take pictures. Before you clean up, if it's safe to do it.
- Stop more damage if you can. A tarp on the roof, water shut off, the car moved off the road.
- Call us. (918) 555-0158. We'll tell you whether to file, how, and what to expect next.
Keep receipts for anything you buy to prevent more damage. Most policies expect you to take reasonable steps, and many will consider those costs.

A voice from the office (illustrative)
“My grandfather used to say the policy is a promise, and our job is to make sure you understand the promise before you need it. That's still the whole job. We just answer texts now too.”
